Our Farm

Happy Hollow Alpacas is a Huntington VT Alpaca Farm in its infancy. We purchased our first two females in January of 2005 from Mike Safely of Northwest Alpacas. Our goal is to establish an outstanding breeding program based on fiber excellence and strong confirmation. As a Huntington Vermont Alpaca Farm, we are making a strong start with the dam Julia who with the sire Hemingway produced the Studmaster (tm) male El Bello. Our program already boasts the genetics of the famous herdsires Glacial Storm and K-2.

Our fiber will be processed privately here on our Huntington VT Alpaca Farm into roving and yarn available for purchase and to be used for artwork created by my wife Mary. Mary has been knitting for more than 15 years and looks forward to expanding her expertise in the fiber arts.

We also look forward to our children's involvement in the farm lifestyle and work ethic that it creates. Our family is and will be our priority and we know that raising alpacas will afford us more quality time together and provide an invaluable experience for our children.
